Thanks to Mike for setting the Chairman's challenge Out of the Comfort Zone in which I chose to write poetry for the first time ever I have now submitted two poems today to Poetry Street and they have both been accepted and will be published there tomorrow.
So I am certainly pleased with how my writing is going.

- I used to work as a full time legal secretary was doing a part time law degree and a legal accounts course by correspondence. Now I help ladies recover from breast cancer surgery with Swimming After Surgery (SAS). I am currently writing a book to help other ladies through what I have been through which was not only a mastectomy but dealing with the sale of the former matrimonial home and actually signing the Transfer document the day after the major surgery in hospital. Two weeks later I got my Decree Absolute through and then my new life began. I have my own website http://swimming-after-surgery-sas.org.uk/ I have a wicked sense of humour and this was born out on my wedding day dance when Andy Williams "Can't take my eyes off you" morphed into "the Timewarp". My motto is there is no practice run at life this is it seize every opportunity you are given and make the most of what life throws at you otherwise life will pass you by.
